- Student Council Elections
-
As adults headed to the polls on June 6th for the primary election in NJ, students at Harrison were experiencing the democratic process in action. Four 3rd graders, and four 4th graders, gave speeches in their bids for the Vice-Presidency and Presidency of next year's Student Council. All eight students are to be commended for their poise as they expertly delivered speeches filled with creativity, understanding, and of course, campaign promises. After voting by the entire student body on June 7th, the results are in. Congratulations to newly elected President, Parker Shulman and newly elected Vice-President Deandra Kurti, as well as the new members of the Executive Board: Parth Jain, Kamalika Vora, Audrey Lee, Jubilee Moon, Ava Thomas and Carolyn Zhou.
