Superheroes and The Power of Yet have been the Harrison Themes for 2016-2017 (**see photo gallery at the bottom of this page). All year, students and staff have been encouraged to find the "superhero within" as they face the challenge of acquiring skills they have not achieved "yet" but that they aspire to. Realizing the importance of role models and real-life examples, the entire Harrison community participated in a Hero Project in February and March by choosing inspirational people to research. The results of that research are displayed on bulletin boards throughout the school, as well as on a hero quilt featuring photos and positive character traits of the individuals studied. In May and June, all classes will participate in a school-wide information scavenger hunt to reinforce what they have learned. Now it's your turn.
