• Thanks to the sponsorship of the PTA, for the 14th straight year, Martha Hamilton and Mitch Weiss (husband and wife storytellers also known as "Beauty and the Beast") returned to Harrison School. On Monday, March 20, they entertained all the staff and students with stories from around the world.  They then coached the 3rd graders throughout the week during a special residency program, helping the students to become expert storytellers as well.  On Friday, March 24, the hard work and practice culminated in a storytelling festival for the families and friends of the third grade superstars!  To find out more about Mitch and Martha or to order their books (including one which is a current nominee for a Children's Choice Award), visit their website by clicking here.
