Summer Assignments
Summer assignments consist of problems that address the pre-requisite skills students need to have mastered in order to be successful in the course. It is recommended that for non-AP courses students wait until August to begin the assignment so the material is still fresh in their minds when school begins in September.
Summer assignments for AP courses are more extensive and often include new material that must be front loaded prior to the start of the course in order to facilitate the completion of the AP curriculum. Students should work on the AP summer assignment at a pace that will enable them to complete the assignment by the start of the new school year.
Due to the current situation with COVID-19, CP courses will not have a summer assignment this summer. Students signed up for CP courses are welcome to try to assignments below as they have traditionally been the same for CP and Honors, but this is optional for CP courses.
