Columbia University Science Honors Program is a highly selective program for high school students who have a strong interest in science and mathematics. The SHP holds classes at Columbia from 10:00AM-12:30PM on Saturdays throughout the academic year. Applicants must currently be in the 11th, 10th, or 9th grade.
Partners in Science is an eight-week summer program provided by the Liberty Science Center for high school juniors and seniors. The program pairs students with mentors in science, health and technical fields and challenges them to participate in ongoing research and independent projects.
Princeton Saturday Science Lectures sponsored by Princeton University. Free and open to the public.
The Stevens Summer The Stevens Summer is about experience, challenge, discovery and exploration. Each summer, talented high school students from around the world come to Stevens for a true residential college experience. On-campus housing and meals are included, on the beautiful Stevens campus in Hoboken, NJ -right across from New York City. 2012 dates TBA
Rochester Scholars Program is a residential summer program where students can choose up to two courses per session. Classes meet for 3 hours a day, 5 days a week, with morning sessions from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 and afternoon sessions from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Students interact with peers and get a taste of the college experience in an engaging and challenging setting.
Worchester Polytechnic Institute Student Summer Program Frontiers is an on-campus, residential, research, and learning experience that challenges soon-to-be high school juniors and seniors to explore the outer limits of knowledge in science, mathematics, and engineering. WPI Launch is a learning and research opportunity for students entering freshman and sophomore years of high school. You'll spend your days working with faculty focusing on current problems and challenges in the fields of biology, chemistry/biochemistry, interactive media and game development, or robotics.
Research Science Institute (RSI) is the first cost-free to students, summer science & engineering program to combine on-campus course work in scientific theory with off-campus work in science and technology research. RSI scholars first participate in a week of intensive STEM classes with accomplished professors. The heart of RSI is the five week research internship where students conduct individual projects under the tutelage of mentors who are experienced scientists and researchers. During the final week of RSI, students prepare written and oral presentations on their research projects.
Cornell Summer College As a Summer College student you'll enroll in one or more of Cornell's fast-paced and rigorous undergraduate courses and enjoy the rare opportunity to work closely with some of Cornell's most outstanding professors.
UPenn Summer High School Programs Summer Academies are 4-week intensive, non-credit academic programs for high school students. Residential housing is available.
