    Course Description:
     
    This course is intended for students who have an interest in stage/set design and construction, and/or lighting/sound management. Students will learn the fundamentals of set/scenery design and theatre layout. Students learn how to safely construct scenery and sets and to operate the various types of lighting and sound equipment associated with theatrical productions. After school participation with school productions is encouraged, but not required for this class.
     
     
    Who Typically Takes This Course?
     
    * Students who want to learn about set design and construction, theatre lighting, theatre sound, stage management, or just want to know more about theatre productions.
    * Students who like think creatively and work together as a team.
    * Students who want to know more about how to set up the stage, lights, and sound for a wide variety of theatric and musical productions.
    * Students who might want to pursue a career in the theatre arts.
    * Students who are thinking about working on the sets for the LHS drama and musicals.

    * Students who want to know how to safely use a wide variety of tools, materials, and processes.
